According to the committee list dated 6 August 2026, the committees were established to oversee key areas of planning and implementation for the festival. The committees include:

The Central Planning Committee is chaired by Mr. Adamu Sumi Gizo, with Dr. John Emmanuel Gagara serving as Deputy Chairman and Barr. Gashion Daniel Danna as Secretary.
The Security Committee is headed by Mr. Emmanuel Yakubu Magani as Chairman, while Arc. Samson Rufai serves as Secretary.
The Publicity Committee, responsible for information dissemination and media coverage of the festival, is chaired by Dr. Ishaku Foli, with Mr. John Habila Murai serving as Secretary.
The document further indicates that representatives from various ZDA branches are expected to participate across the committees to ensure broad representation and effective coordination.
Lhmb Zaar remains a major cultural celebration that showcases the rich heritage, traditions, unity, and identity of the Zaar people. The festival annually attracts sons and daughters of Zaar land from within and outside Nigeria, as well as cultural enthusiasts and guests from different communities.
Stakeholders have expressed optimism that the newly constituted committees will work diligently to ensure a successful and memorable 2026 Lhmb Zaar Cultural Festival.
