How to Participate in This Year’s Event

1. PARTICIPATION AT HOME (LIM)

If the event meets you at home (Lim), or you travelled purposely to attend, you can be part of history in the following ways:

i. Wear your Lim Youth Day T-shirt and Cap to show unity and pride.

ii. Make a financial contribution at the event. Please note that no amount is too small. Your contribution places you among the pioneers who supported the realization of the First Lim Youth Day 2025.

iii. Come ready to dance.

Wear comfortable shoes and avoid footwear that may limit your movement during dancing.

iv. Purchase the Lim Youth Day T-shirt and Cap. This is not just about wearing it; it is a sign of sacrifice and commitment to community development. Buying for yourself, family members, girlfriends, or boyfriends shows cooperation and readiness for community growth.

2. PARTICIPATION FROM THE CITY

Dear people of Lim, distance is not a barrier to the development of our community. You can also participate from anywhere through the following means:

i. Purchase the event T-shirt and Cap for yourself, family members, or relatives.

Brief History of Lim Forum

History of Lim Forum

The story of Lim Forum began on 7th October 2019, when Lim The 21st Century was founded by Yohanna Sunday Atiku. The initiative was created to promote enlightenment, unity, and recognition for the Lim people. It operated through Facebook and WhatsApp, attracting 254 members, mostly youths from all Lim communities: Limbisa, Limkasa, Limsabon Gari, Limdadin Kowa, Limtsakani, and Limtsohorfada.

Early Challenges:

Despite its early promise, Lim The 21st Century encountered several obstacles:

1. Officials were elected, yet no significant achievements followed.

2. Weak leadership and lack of clear development strategies slowed progress.

3. Most objectives remained unfulfilled.

4. Only one major activity—the annual sports competition—was successfully organized.

5. The founder had to reassess and restructure the entire initiative alone.

These limitations made it clear that the group needed a new direction.

The Transformation:

On 26th February 2025, a two-month public notice of transition was issued.

By 26th April 2025, Lim Forum officially took over, replacing Lim The 21st Century.

The transformation included:

1. A new name

2. A new logo

3. A new cover image

4. A refreshed group description

Today, Lim Forum stands as a reformed, modern, and impactful community platform, dedicated to peace, unity, enlightenment, and positive development. It thrives as a hub for:

Yohanna Sunday Atiku is a visionary community developer, security professional, and social impact advocate from Lim Village, Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area, Bauchi State. He founded Lim Forum with a clear mission: to unite all Lim communities under one enlightened, progressive, and development-driven platform.

 

Professional Background

Yohanna Sunday Atiku is a trained and experienced security trainer, operations and recruitment specialist, with years of experience in the private security industry. His roles have included:

• Operations Manager (Deputizing) at Tana Corporate Security Services Limited, Lagos 

• Training & Recruitment Officer, responsible for training and deploying security guards.

• Developer of security guard training manuals, articles, and operational guides .

• He is widely recognized for his ability to train, motivate, and manage personnel effectively, and for his leadership in improving security service standards.

Education

Yohanna Sunday Atiku obtained Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminology and Security Studies from the National Open University of Nigeria in the year 2022.
